Enjoy a full day of relaxation with thermal and sensory treatments.
Start with 4h treatment in The Sensory spa it represents the perfect meeting between naturopathy and enchanting Tuscan countryside You’ll follow five different packages, cleansing, energizing, restoring.
In these rooms you will encounter: the power of the pyramid, the melmarium (mud room), the ice accident, swimming pools with hydromassage, one with salt water, two saunas, a Turkish bath, multi-sensory showers, the water of the sacred spring (which is an evocative sculpture), aromatherapy, chromotherapy, music therapy, the Kneipp package and the room of inner silence.
Lunch at Sensory spa is enriched by a further sense – taste – thanks to the buffet package designed by professor Nicola Sorrentino, scientific director of Sensory spa, Specialist in Nutrition and Food Science, Hydrology, Climatology and Thalassotherapy. In a sophisticated room, this healthy package combines the lightness of the dishes with their goodness, stimulating the other senses at the same time.
THEIA “The Bath of the Etruscans”
Theia, “she who shines far”, was the mother of Selene in Etruscan mythology and the brand new spa pools, four outdoor and three indoor, couldn’t be named after her. The pools – over 500 meters squared of tubs – are all connected and filled with water from the Sillene spring. Rich in carbon dioxide, calcium carbonate, bicarbonate and sulphates, which give it its typical opaqueness, the waters offer an anti-inflammatory action on the muscular, skeletal system and are nourishing for the skin.
The temperature of the water in the pools is between 33 and 36 degrees, so the outdoor pools may also be used in all seasons.
- Sensory Spa closing day is Thursday.
- Theia Thermal Pools closing day on Tuesday.
