At Lucca City, people see it remains fascinating, enclosed by the imposing walls that have protected it for centuries, built in the 16th/17th century to defend the city from the enemy attack of the surrounding cities. Lucca still retains its medieval appearance all to visit by walking through its constraints and narrow streets, Torre delle Ore, present in Via Finlungo in the main medieval village and then we find the 44m Guinigi Tower built as a defence tower by the Guinigi Family in the 14th Century, impossible not to recognize it with its trees on top of 230 steps.
